How do I enable EDGE on my station?

EDGE is currently available to all customers on the Premium plan (and soon as an addon for other plans). It can be enabled under 'Settings > Broadcast > Edge Audio Processing'. Once enabled, you can switch between presets easily to find the one right for your station.

Will my listeners notice a delay when I enable EDGE?

No. EDGE has an ultra-low latency of only 7.8ms. This is well below the industry standard for "noticeable" lag, ensuring your stream remains live while sounding significantly more polished.

Will it work with my music format?

Yes. 16 presets cover everything from CHR, AC, Rock to Classical, Jazz, Talk to lo-fi. If you're broadcasting audio, there's a preset for it. Check out the preset guide for more details.

Do I need to be an audio engineer to use the presets?

The presets are pre-configured by professionals. Pick one that matches your format and you're done. No knob-twiddling required. You can find your signature sound in a single click, though you’ll still have the flexibility to swap presets to find the one that works best for you.

Why does my station restart when I change EDGE settings?

To ensure your new audio profile is applied across your entire infrastructure correctly, a brief restart is required whenever EDGE is toggled or a new preset is selected. We recommend making these adjustments during off-peak hours to minimimise listener disruption.

Is EDGE included in all plans?

EDGE is an exclusive feature for Premium broadcasters. If you're currently on a Lite, Standard or Plus plan, you can upgrade to Premium within your billing dashboard to instantly unlock this feature. It will also be available soon, as a paid addon for other plans.
